The North Carolina Department of Commerce is seeking a Benefits Coordinator and Payroll Time Administrator to manage leave programs, disability coverage, wellness initiatives, and retirement processing. The role includes guidance to employees and policy development to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

This is a full-time position with potential hybrid telework and comprehensive state benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Formación

• Experience interpreting and applying state statutes, policies, and regulations governing employee benefits, including disability, retirement, and workers' compensation.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the Agency's Benefits Coordinator and Payroll Time Administrator for Leave Management.
• Manage Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), Family Illness Leave (FIL), and Voluntary Shared Leave (VSL) programs.
• Oversee Wellness Program, Short-term and Long-term Disability programs, and retirement process.
