Job summary

Southeast New Mexico College is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, Benefits in Carlsbad, NM. You will administer employee benefits, coordinate FMLA, workers’ compensation, open enrollment, and onboarding using NEOGOV Onboard and Anthology HRIS.

You will maintain benefits records, work with Payroll, and assist with new hire orientation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in a supportive, student-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field with HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life and other welfare benefits.
• Coordinates FMLA and leave processes, ensuring notices and documentation are accurate.
• Maintains benefits and leave records and coordinates with Payroll and benefit partners.
