Job summary

Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) seeks an Human Resources Coordinator, Benefits to manage employee benefits and related HR operations. You will coordinate benefit programs, QB open enrollment, and ensure accurate records and compliance.

You will support onboarding in NEOGOV Onboard and Anthology, coordinate with Payroll, and maintain confidential employee records while providing clear information to staff and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with three years of HR experience including benefits administration, FMLA, workers’ compensation.
• Equivalency: Associate degree with five years, or high school diploma with seven years experience in HR duties.
• Any equivalent education/training/experience may be approved by HR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other benefits.
• Manage open enrollment processes and annual communications with benefit vendors.
• Monitor FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave processes and ensure compliance.
