Job summary

Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) in Carlsbad, NM, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, Benefits to administer employee benefit programs, coordinate FMLA and workers’ compensation, and manage onboarding with NEOGOV Onboard and Anthology.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience (or an associate degree with 5+ years, or a high school diploma with 7+ years) and will maintain accurate benefits records while providing responsive employee support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 3+ years related experience in benefits administration, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and HR functions.
• Equivalency: Associate degree with 5+ years, OR high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be considered by HR.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate employee benefit programs across providers.
• Coordinate FMLA, workers’ compensation, and annual open enrollment processes.
• Support onboarding using NEOGOV Onboard and Anthology; maintain accurate records.
