Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor in San Antonio, TX is seeking an HR Benefits Specialist to support day-to-day benefits administration, answer employee questions, and ensure accurate records. You will work closely with the Director of Benefits, benefit vendors, Payroll, and HR partners to deliver timely enrollment and accurate reporting.

The role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining HIPAA privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Benefits/HR certification (CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM) preferred.
• Minimum two years in HR/benefits administration or related role.
• Experience with self-insured plans, COBRA and spending accounts preferred.
• Solid knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, disability, retirement and wellness.
• Respond to benefits questions, research issues, and coordinate with vendors or internal teams.
• Administer and maintain benefit election records in Workday with proper documentation.
• Review and reconcile benefit invoices, payroll, or GL data as needed.
• Conduct benefits orientation sessions and partner with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance for health information.
• Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.
