Job summary

SDI Staffing is seeking an Employee Benefits Assistant / Team Support Specialist for an insurance agency in Carlsbad. The position is in-office, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, a temp-to-hire path, and compensation is $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

Benefits include a full package with Medical, HRA, 401(k) with match, PTO and Sick Pay. A summer schedule allows early Fridays in June/July, and occasional lunches are provided during peak season.

Qualifications

• This role requires two years of recent office experience in a customer service setting.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is expected.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive and a team player.
• Ability to multi-task and handle priorities with ease.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet callers and route inquiries with a positive vibe.
• Coordinate enrollment materials and update internal systems accurately.
• Prepare and organize client documents and benefit materials.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team.
