Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Senior Benefits Specialist to support oversight and administration of compliance for PEO master benefit plans. This role provides research, guidance, and documentation to internal teams on ACA, Form 5500 filings, ERISA, state filings, COBRA, and HIPAA, without client phone calls.

The position emphasizes strong regulatory knowledge, analytical skills, and cross-team collaboration, with on-site work essential for audits and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of 2–4 years of benefits compliance experience (e.g., ACA reporting, Form 5500 filings, ERISA, or related regulatory work).
• Strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIRD, Medicare Part D, Form 5500 filing requirements.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
• Experience supporting Benefits Administration and other teams with compliance topics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure ongoing ACA compliance for PEO master plans.
• Prepare, review, and file Form 5500 annual reports for master plans; coordinate with TPAs and auditors.
• Track and interpret federal/state compliance requirements and communicate updates to teams.
• Respond to internal escalations on complex compliance questions with guidance and documentation.
• Develop and update compliance SOPs, FAQs, calendars, and process guides.
• Train and mentor team members on compliance requirements and audit readiness.
• Participate in special projects related to benefits compliance.
