Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably UKG.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration, including: Pay transparency, State paid family and medical leave, State paid sick leave, State employment changes.
• Support internal audit activities, including: Monthly benefits audits, Quarterly funding audits, Annual third-party audits for Health and Welfare, 401(k), and Contractor’s Plan.
• Compile, analyze, and report benefits data, including Enrollment analytics, Open enrollment statistics, Additional ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Support benefits communication campaigns, including: Annual preventative campaign, Semi-annual financial campaign.
• Provide backup support for: Benefits administration in UKG, FMLA and leave administration.
• Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to benefits.
