Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a customer-focused professional to support Producers and service teams in managing existing accounts and pursuing new business. The role may involve servicing and retaining assigned clients and policies, with coordination across carriers to obtain quotes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years related work experience preferred.
• Valid insurance license and completion of one insurance class required.
• Continuing Education requirements must be met for license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Packages and markets applications to carriers to obtain quotes.
• Negotiate prices, commissions, and coverages with carriers.
• Review policies for deficiencies and determine appropriate coverage.
• Manage renewal process for expiring policies.
• Assist with client accounting inquiries and collections on past due accounts.
• Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for clients.
• Gather information for applications and coordinate with underwriters.
• Communicate with insured and underwriters; draft letters and forms.
• Input applications and generate correspondence; create draft certificate templates.
• Analyze certificate requests to meet client needs.
• Maintain data integrity in agency management system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
