Job summary

M/I Homes, Inc. is seeking an HR Benefits Administrator to support health, welfare and retirement programs. You will enroll benefits, enter data in Dayforce, monitor feeds, and handle routine leaves in AbsenceSoft under guidance from the Benefits Analyst.

You'll ensure accurate data, assist with open enrollment, coordinate with payroll, and maintain benefit materials and records with confidentiality across systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR/Business.
• Zero to two years of experience in human resources, benefits, payroll, or customer service.
• Basic knowledge of employee benefits and leave concepts; strong data accuracy across systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for employee benefit and leave questions and support administration of health, welfare, retirement programs.
• Process benefit enrollments, data entry in Dayforce, and monitor file feeds with carriers.
• Administer leaves in AbsenceSoft, issue notices, and coordinate with payroll on pay and status.
• Reconcile monthly carrier invoices and maintain benefit records with confidentiality.
• Assist with open enrollment, reports, and upkeep of benefit materials and intranet content.
