Job summary

Olin is seeking a Benefits Accounting Specialist to support accounting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance for U.S. employee benefit plans.

The role involves working with HR, Finance, Payroll, Tax, and external providers to ensure accurate reporting, funding, and compliance. Responsibilities include analyses, reconciliations, and audits of benefit plan activity, preparation of schedules and management reporting, and collaboration to resolve discrepancies while maintaining process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in HR, accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Experience with retirement/employee benefit plans and regulatory reporting is desired.
• Strong communication and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses, reconciliations, and audits of employee benefit plan financial activity and related accounts.
• Support benefit plan financial reporting, regulatory filings, audits, and compliance activities.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and assist with audits and process improvements.
• Manage relationships with recordkeepers, trustees, and external vendors.
• Provide operational and compliance support for welfare and retirement plans.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and service providers to resolve discrepancies.
