Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support and administer financial benefit programs, including pensions, 401(k), RRSP, life insurance, and voluntary benefits. You will work with Benefits Administration, HR Legal, Finance, HR Business Partners, and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant plans and clear employee communications.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of experience supporting or administering financial benefit plans.
  • Ability to interpret complex plan documents, financial-benefit rules, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets, audits, and financial/benefits reporting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees, leaders, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and HRIS such as Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Support administration of pensions, 401(k), RRSP, life insurance, and voluntary benefits.
  • Partner with financial benefit vendors to manage SLAs, troubleshoot escalations, and ensure data integrity across HRIS and benefit platforms.
  • Manage eligibility, enrollments, file feeds, audits, and vendor coordination.
  • Review plan data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and escalate risks.
  • Support annual financial-benefits cycles including open enrollment, plan updates, and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze plan performance, utilization, and trends; translate findings into actionable insights for the Manager of Benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, pension rules, and applicable U.S. and Canadian requirements.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend operational enhancements.
  • Successfully manage multiple deadlines in a complex, matrixed environment.
