Job summary

Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking an Employee Benefits customer service professional to support administration of benefits policies and enrollment processes. You will participate in client meetings with brokers and assist with carrier billing and claim issues.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, customer service orientation, and knowledge of HIPAA/COBRA laws. Licensing in NYS Life, Accident & Health is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Publisher).
• Licensed in NYS Life, Accident & Health required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings and enrollment meetings with brokers.
• Service assigned Group Agency Accounts and resolve enrollment issues.
• Reconcile claim issues and carrier premium billing discrepancies.
• Handle telephone inquiries and intake enrollment information.
• Educate carriers, members, and providers on benefits and claims.
• Assist with HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and other legal issues.
