Job summary

Magic City Enterprises seeks aRepresentative Payee Specialist in Cheyenne, WY. You will manage all assigned payee accounts, ensure funds are used appropriately, and maintain thorough documentation while coordinating with IPC teams and government agencies.

You’ll balance accounts, report changes affecting eligibility, and uphold confidentiality. Exceptional organization, communication, and precise recordkeeping are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; accounting coursework preferred.
• Two years’ bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledgeable about people with developmental disabilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Wyoming driver’s license and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Record and balance accounts for representative payee funds.
• Interpret social security benefits and budgeting for beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with Social Security, Medicaid and other agencies.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate ledgers and records.
• Assist with audits (HUD, SSA, Medicaid, etc.).
• Protect confidentiality of payer records and documents.
