Job summary

Living Well Disability Services seeks a detail-oriented Representative Payee to oversee Social Security and public benefits for individuals we support. You will ensure eligibility, manage payments, and maintain accurate records in a collaborative Finance team.

Responsibilities include applying for benefits, distributing funds, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with guardians and agencies. Strong ethics, organization, and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Equivalent experience (2–5 years) may be considered in place of degree.
• Experience with public benefits programs is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Social Security benefits and related financial services for individuals supported by Living Well.
• Apply for Social Security benefits and complete required interviews with SSA.
• Monitor assets and income to maintain benefit eligibility.
• Prepare annual Representative Payee reports and redeterminations.
• Reconcile payee accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Partner with program managers and external agencies to resolve benefit issues.
