Job summary

TRI-Development Center, Residential Services, seeks a part-time Representative Payee Program Coordinator to manage beneficiary funds, perform accounting tasks, and ensure SSA compliance. Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Secretarial Sciences or high school diploma/GED with secretarial/office management experience.
• Background in banking, bookkeeping or similar financial duties preferred.
• Typing and word processing skills; general secretarial duties.
• Must handle confidential information with discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Representative Payee Program ensuring SSA compliance and proper handling of beneficiary funds.
• Keep written records for payments, statements, and receipts for at least two years.
• Notify SSA when a beneficiary no longer requires a payee.
• Prepare annual accountings and redeterminations as required by SSA.
