Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division at Oakbrook Terrace Corps is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to manage bell ringing operations and support staffing needs.

Responsibilities include interviewing and processing hired bell ringers, coordinating schedules, resolving payroll discrepancies, and supporting officers with daily tasks. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license/MVR clearance. Reports to Corps Officers.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license/MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens, and selection of bell ringing staff.
• Process of bell ringer applications with DHQ.
• Assist Corps Officers to coordinate and maintain bell ringing site schedules.
• Work with bell ringers to resolve payroll discrepancies as needed.
• Assist Officers to ensure the daily route sheets are printed and distributed, if needed.
• Field calls on the Bell Ringer hotline during working hours.
• Prepare coffee and refreshments for bell ringers prior to the start of their shift.
• All other duties as assigned.
