Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division, Oakbrook Terrace Corps, seeks a part-time Kettle Coordinator to manage bell ringing operations at Oakbrook Terrace. The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to support the local corps during fundraising activities.

You will interview and process bell ringers, coordinate site schedules, and liaise with Corps Officers and the Business Administrator.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s license/MVR clearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and bell ringers.
• Attention to detail in schedules, payroll, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens, and selection of bell ringing staff.
• Process of bell ringer applications with DHQ.
• Assist Corps Officers to coordinate and maintain bell ringing site schedules.
• Work with bell ringers to resolve payroll discrepancies as needed.
• Assist Officers to ensure the daily route sheets are printed and distributed, if needed.
• Field calls on the Bell Ringer hotline during working hours.
• Prepare coffee and refreshments for bell ringers prior to the start of their shift.
• All other duties as assigned.
