Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a Bell/Door Attendant to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, and open doors at the main entrance in alignment with Forbes service standards.

As part of the Front of the House/Front Office team, you will help create the hotel’s first and last impression, support guest arrival and departure experiences, and coordinate with bell staff to ensure smooth, memorable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Hospitality or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present a warm, hospitable attitude to all guests.
• Greet guests and open car doors for arriving and departing hotel customers.
• Assist with taxi coordination and provide directions to hotel facilities.
• Read luggage tags and manage claim tickets for luggage handling.
• Maintain alert demeanor during busy periods and communicate parking procedures.
