Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a confident Bell Captain to lead our Guest Services team in delivering seamless, memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum one-year leadership experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift items in excess of 75lbs.
  • Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Bell Team’s daily operations, including scheduling, timecard approvals, and training.
  • Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Safely handle and transport luggage, baggage, and packages; ensure secure storage when needed.
  • Provide detailed information about rooms, amenities, and hotel facilities; address guest inquiries promptly.
  • Communicate hotel emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Promote hotel services, dining options, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordinate with other departments—Front Desk, Valet, Concierge, Housekeeping—to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of all equipment and work areas.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
