Job summary

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is looking for a warm, professional Bell Person to welcome guests and manage arrivals and departures with care. You’ll transport luggage, share information on rooms and local attractions, and collaborate with Front Desk and Concierge teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role emphasizes guest service excellence, reliability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while delivering memorable service in a resort setting.

Qualifications

  • Guest-focused service mindset and ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Strong verbal communication and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift items over 75 lbs. and assist with luggage.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Safely handle and transport luggage, baggage, and packages.
  • Store luggage securely while awaiting transfer.
  • Provide information about room types, amenities, and hotel facilities; address guest inquiries.
  • Communicate hotel emergency procedures as needed.
  • Inform guests about local attractions and travel directions; promote hotel outlets and activities.
  • Escort guests to/from property areas and build positive relationships with hotel departments.
  • Remain vigilant at post and notify Security if necessary.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and coordinated with Housekeeping.
  • Attend mandatory training and meetings; maintain regular attendance.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Provide detailed information about room types, amenities, and hotel facilities; address guest inquiries.

  • Offer information about the hotel and local attractions, including travel directions; promote hotel facilities, food and beverage outlets, and recreational programs.
  • Transport guests safely to and from property areas.
  • Build positive relationships with all hotel departments, including Front Desk, Valet Parking, Concierge, and Housekeeping.
  • Remain vigilant at your post when not assisting guests, ensuring guest safety and notifying Security if necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of all equipment and work areas, coordinating with Housekeeping for major cleaning tasks.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift items more than 75lbs.
  • Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.

The wage for this position is $17.90.
