Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services Temecula is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism, supporting social and communication skills and following behavior plans.

You will document progress, implement strategies from Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and communicate with families to reinforce learning at home and in the community. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old.
• College coursework in psychology/education/related fields or 1+ year experience with children (e.g., ABA-related roles).

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce repetitive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required.
