Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Santa Clara County is seeking an entry-level Behavior Technician to provide in-home support to children on the Autism Spectrum. The role offers flexible morning, afternoon and evening hours with competitive hourly pay.

You will help children build social skills and communication, document progress, and implement plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Prior experience with children is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year plus experience in roles with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.

• Document child progress and milestones
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
