Job summary

RightWay ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children in in-home and center-based ABA therapy. You will implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA and help clients develop communication, social, daily living, and play skills.

This role offers training and support to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under BCBA supervision within a woman-owned, BCBA-led practice.

• Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
• Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data-collection software or paper systems.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.
• Follow ethical guidelines set by the BACB and uphold client confidentiality.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Client Support

• Collect accurate, real‑time data on client progress.

Session Preparation & Documentation

• Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
• Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data‑collection software or paper systems.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.

Professional Conduct

• Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
