Job summary

The Summit Center is seeking a Behavioral Support Consultant to provide clinical support through team consultation, behavioral assessments, and the development and implementation of behavior plans. You will lead Behavioral Support Technicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective interventions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Special Education or School Psychology, with a Master’s preferred, and experience with ABA-based behavior plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or school psychology required; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience developing and implementing behavioral support plans with individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Certifications: First Aid and CPR; SCIP-R certification; BCBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-based behavioral consultation to classroom teams.
• Complete behavioral assessments.
• Develop and write required reports.
• Measure student progress on interim behavioral protocols and behavior intervention plans.
• Train staff in best practice methods.
• Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for students.
• Ensure that IEP mandates are fulfilled.
• Maintain all records required.
• Conduct duties in line with current best practice and ethical guidelines.
