Job summary

The Summit Center in Western New York is seeking a Behavioral Support Consultant to provide clinical support through team consultation, behavioral assessments, and the development of behavior plans. You will supervise Behavioral Support Technicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective interventions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in special education or psychology, ABA experience, and preferred BCBA certification; First Aid and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education, school psychology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• BCBA certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• OCFS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-based behavioral consultation to classroom teams
• Complete behavioral assessments
• Develop and write required reports
• Measure student progress on interim behavioral protocols and BIPs
• Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for students
• Ensure IEP mandates are fulfilled
• Maintain all records required
• Conduct duties in accordance with best practice and ethical guidelines
