Qualifications

  • Masters in Psychology or related field required.
  • 1–3 years’ experience with the DD population.
  • Computer literate, detail-oriented, and have excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Must be able to work in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Assess consumer functioning with standardized tests and observations.
  • Report findings and recommendations to the IDT at team meetings.
  • Develop behavioral treatment and monitoring plans; train staff.
  • Monitor progress via behavioral data; present at ISP and IDT meetings.
  • Provide staff training on profiles, plans, and data collection.
  • Advocate for individuals with external mental health providers.
  • Attend monthly IDT and residential staff meetings.
  • Obtain informed consent for rights restrictions; update team.
  • Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Coordinate with Medicaid and Psychology Services Coordinators.
