Job summary

ICL in Bronx, NY is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist-ID540503 to join the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. This on-site role reports to licensed psychologists and Area Director, overseeing clinical programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing behavior support plans, training staff, monitoring progress, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field.
• At least one year of clinical experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• BCBA certification preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and annual psychological assessments under supervision.
• Assess behavior and implement programs to increase adaptive behaviors.
• Develop measurable behavior plans and ensure staff have access to required materials.
• Train staff on behavior support plans and provide ongoing supervision.
• Monitor program implementation via observation, data review, and staff interviews.
• Prepare monthly progress summaries and reports for IPP and reviews.
• Write psychological reports and participate in case reviews as needed.
