Job summary

Liberty Resources in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to lead psychological services for individuals with ID/DD in IRAs. The role develops Behavior Support Plans and monitoring tools, trains staff, and ensures compliant behavior tracking.

Qualifications

• MS in Psychology or related field.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders or behavioral needs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport individuals.

Responsibilities

• Write and train Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Medication Monitoring Plans (MMP).
• Develop behavior tracking tools; train staff on methods for accurate tracking of events.
• Serve as clinical representative on Liberty Resources’ Human Rights Committee with the PhD Psychologist.
• Teach SCIP-R curriculum.
• Stay current on 633 Regulations and update agency policy accordingly.
• Assist with admission and discharge of individuals.
