Job summary

Birch Family Services is seeking an Assistant Clinician to work with residential or day habilitation staff under supervision. You will help assess needs, develop goals in CFA or Life Plans, and monitor progress with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or related Human Services field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in OPWDD related field; residential, health or treatment setting preferred.
• Ability to document records with strong written, verbal and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the BIS, RN or Manager/Coordinator to conduct assessments and observations.
• Develop goals/outcomes in CFA or Life Plan and monitor progress data.
• Design data collection systems and ensure program adherence and reporting.
• Facilitate team meetings, case conferences and staff training on clinical interventions.
