Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) seeks a Unit Coordinator to support nursing staff and manage unit operations. This role includes monitoring supplies, coordinating schedules, maintaining charts, and responding to unit calls to ensure efficient patient care.

You will mentor Mental Health Technicians, assist milieu management, participate in weekend on‑call rotations, and help implement treatment plans while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment across the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Drug test and national background check required.
• Must possess valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and perform administrative duties on assigned units.
• Monitor supplies, organize nursing stations and patient areas.
• Maintain charts and coordinate patient scheduling.
• Mentor new staff and model milieu management for teams.
• Participate in weekend on‑call rotations and staffing.”
• Assist in formulating and revising patient treatment plans.
• Ensure safety and a positive environment on the facility.
