Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Unit Coordinator to provide administrative support for clinical services and to help manage registration, insurance verification, and scheduling.

You will work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth unit operations, accurate documentation in the EHR, and effective communication with patients and families. A notary credential and prior clerical experience are valued assets for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of exceptional service customer service-oriented work experience.
• 3 years of clerical experience.
• Current Notary or able to become one within 90 days.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Registers individuals for services, including Medicaid eligibility verification and scheduling appointments.
• Collaborates with clinical team and communicates concerns to the appropriate discipline.
• Greets visitors, maintains security, and manages visitor badges.
• Oversees episode of care in the EHR with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinates discharge with inpatient facilities and transfers within the EHR.
• Obtains clinical records and communicates with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Assists with involuntary admissions and serves as liaison across departments.
• Promotes a welcoming environment with excellent customer service.
