Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to join the Behavioral Health team. You will provide psychotherapy, group, and family therapy, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The role is day shift, full-time in a hospital setting, and requires a Master’s degree with appropriate licensure. Intern supervision and professional development are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Licensure such as Clinical Counselor, Counselor, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Therapist required before hire.

• Assess comprehensive patient needs and psychosocial status to establish a strong, empathetic foundation for individual care.
• Develop and deliver personalized psychotherapy, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring individualized treatment goals are successfully met.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in patient care conferences to align treatment plans and optimize care outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, clinical consultations, and supportive services meticulously to maintain accurate, compliant records and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and mentor interns and assigned clinical staff to foster professional growth and uphold high standards of departmental excellence.
