SUN Behavioral Columbus is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN.

You will monitor patients, perform vital signs, assist with ADLs, support de-escalation and safety protocols, and participate in treatment planning and CQI activities. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and CNA preferred; hospital experience is a plus, and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and hospital‑selected de-escalation training.
• CNA certification preferred; one year healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to perform vital signs, monitor mental status, and notify RN of changes.
• Ability to assist with restraints under RN direction and CPI techniques.
• Maintain patient safety, documentation, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilités

• Performs and records patient vital signs and intake/output.
