Sun Behavioral Health in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs. You will monitor patients, assist with ADLs, support safety, document observations, participate in CQI activities, and help with de-escalation and therapeutic groups.

You will contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment, assist with patient care needs, and work as part of a collaborative hospital team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; some college courses optional.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Monitor patient behavior and mental status; report changes.
• Assist with safety, restraints under RN direction, and seclusion as needed.
• Record vital signs and nursing assessments in EHR.
• Support therapeutic groups and orientation of new staff.
