Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician-CoC to provide structured transition case management for inmates within one year of release, aligning with the Continuum of Care framework. You will coordinate training, documentation, discharge planning, and tie-ins to post-release services.

You will also conduct individual cognitive behavioral treatment sessions and group counseling, establish community linkages, and actively monitor progress toward reintegration goals while collaborating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of correctional setting experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with staff and inmates.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide transition case management for inmates within one year of release.
• Deliver individual cognitive behavioral therapy and group sessions as needed.
• Coordinate with community resources for post-release support.
• Record case management notes in GEO’s electronic system.
• Participate in trainings and program activities.
