Success requires training in GEO’s Continuum of Care, strong documentation, and collaboration with community providers to reduce barriers to reintegration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree desirable.
• Two years of correctional setting experience preferred.
• Understanding of evidence-based intervention reduces recidivism.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to prepare written reports and use basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Participates in designated responsibilities and training.
• Records case management notes and tracks inmate progress.
• Develops caseload knowledge and addresses transition services.
• Develops transition plans and links to community resources pre-release.
• Conducts individual and group cognitive behavioral sessions.
