The GEO Group, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician-CoC to provide transition case management for inmates within one year of release.

The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, transition planning, and post-release connections to community resources, including cognitive behavioral sessions. The position supports GEO’s Continuum of Care with training, data recording, and collaboration with a statewide network of service providers to ease reintegration and ensure access to benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree desirable.
• Two years of experience in a correctional setting preferred.
• Ability to work with a team and apply Principles of Effective Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Participates in training for designated responsibilities.
• Records case management notes and tracks progress using GEO’s system.
• Develops transition plans and links inmates to post-release resources.
• Delivers individual and group cognitive behavioral treatment sessions as needed.
• Maintains communication with administration, staff, inmates and the public.
