Overview

We are looking to add Behavioral Health Technicians at our Indianapolis, IN Facility!

PRN - All Shift (Days 7a-7p - Nights 7p-7a)

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. We put behavioral health front and center, providing assistance to people with substance abuse issues, addictions, and mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for the observation and monitoring of patients in treatment, reporting duties as indicated, and contributing to the welfare of the organization. They assist patients in various activities and help maintain a safe environment.

Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success by:

Core Job Duties

• Communicate and enforce facility program rules and ensure compliance professionally and fairly.
• Report patient behavior to supervisors and clinical team as appropriate.
• Address problem behaviors through verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Adhere to schedules and maintain professional boundaries.
• Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and secure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a health-related field and minimum one year of experience preferred; or
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Completion of ARS training through BHT I, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with adults or children/adolescents, depending on facility.
• Good driving record and relevant licenses/certifications (e.g., Counselor license, QMAP, CBHT, CNA, MA).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
