Job summary

OCD Anxiety Centers in California is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients and the treatment team during programming, ensuring safety, structure, engagement, and smooth treatment-floor momentum.

You will assist with groups, exposures, homework collection, client monitoring, and documentation, following clinical direction and maintaining clear boundaries. This role emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to escalate concerns to clinicians when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college or degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
• Completion of BHT training and required competencies within assigned timelines required.
• Ability to use electronic records, email, documents, schedules, and basic computer systems.
• Must pass background checks and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support clients during groups, exposures, and treatment-floor activities per clinical direction.
• Assist with exposure setup, homework review, and client encouragement.
• Collect scales, attendance information, group materials, and documentation on time.
• Maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment and escalate concerns as needed.
• Participate in training, supervision, audits, and feedback to improve skills.
