Job summary

BriteLife Recovery in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Driver to transport clients, supervise in the facility, and support recovery efforts. A valid driver's license and CRS willingness are required, with a strong emphasis on safety, compassion, and professional boundaries.

You will document client information in EMR, assist with admissions, and help coordinate therapy activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRS preferred or willingness to pursue CRS.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs during drills or emergencies.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Wear identification while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Observe and document client behaviors; supervise during transport.
• Enter client information into EMR and assist admissions paperwork.
• Maintain safety and appropriate therapeutic boundaries.
• Promote a healthy recovery environment and assist in activities.
• Perform housekeeping and report any equipment or vehicle issues.
• Respond to emergencies, call 911, and begin CPR if needed.
• Collaborate with team to support clients and recovery goals.
