Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients throughout shifts, maintain a therapeutic milieu, and document care in client records. The role requires collaboration with clinicians, management of activities, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include ADL support, meal supervision, crisis intervention, routine drug screenings, and collaboration on education groups. A valid TB test, CPR/First Aid, and a driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to complete within 30 days of employment.
• Clear TB test.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine interventions based on client needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and group activities; supports ADLs and meals.
• Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Maintains therapeutic environment; documents services, incident and shift reports.
• Recognizes mood changes and uses de-escalation techniques; crisis intervention when needed.
• Provides transportation support and safety checks for vehicles.
