Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hartsville, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients across shifts, implement interventions, and maintain a therapeutic milieu.

You will document observations, collaborate with the clinical team, supervise meals and activities, and help with crisis de-escalation while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Requires 1+ year related experience, high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, TB clearance, and willingness to complete CPI training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• TB test clearance required.
• Willingness to complete BHT and CPI Training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine/interventions based on client needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and activities across settings.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and maintains room hygiene checks.
• Conducts drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Provides therapeutic interaction in 1:1, group, and community settings and documents observations.
• Maintains therapeutic environment and upholds safety procedures.
