Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Washington state seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients and the treatment team, maintain safety and structure, and assist with groups, exposures, and documentation. This role requires strong engagement, punctuality, and the ability to stay focused during treatment-floor activities.

You will monitor clients, assist with homework, ensure confidentiality, and escalate concerns as directed, while staying within scope and under clinical direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college/degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, human services, or related field preferred.
• Completion of Company BHT training and required competencies within assigned timelines required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients during groups, exposures, skills practice, breaks, transitions, and treatment-floor activities according to clinical direction and Company standards.
• Assist with exposure setup, homework review, response-prevention reminders, client encouragement, and reduction of avoidance or reassurance behaviors within scope.
• Collect assigned scales, homework, attendance information, group materials, and client-support documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, structured, clean, and therapeutic treatment-floor environment.
• Communicate client concerns, disengagement, risk statements, family concerns, or unusual behavior promptly to clinicians or BHT leadership.
