Job summary

WestCare Nevada Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support counseling services under supervision. You will assist with group and individual sessions, document records, and participate in treatment planning to ensure high-quality client care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for higher education in social or behavioral services. A valid driver's license, background checks, and vaccinations may be required for employment at the Las Vegas facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor degree in social/behavioral services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain WestCare vehicle insurance.
• Must pass state/federal background checks and vaccinations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral health counseling under supervision.
• Assist with crisis intervention and safety protocols.
• Document clinical records including ISP and daily notes.
• Attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and participate in treatment planning.
• Provide transportation as directed and maintain data logs for activities.
