Banyan Treatment Centers in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support to patients in recovery. The BHT will supervise patients, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure safe, personalized care.

The role emphasizes crisis awareness, effective communication, and ongoing development through education and advancement opportunities within the organization.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV for the last 3 years.
• Work experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Supervision and Safety: Monitor patients and grounds, conduct safety checks, and communicate with medical staff.
• Waive Testing: Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and comply with policies.
• Patient Interaction and Support: Maintain respectful interactions, offer emotional support, refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Communication and Team Collaboration: Share patient information with Team Leader and supervisors, collaborate to ensure high-quality care.
• Daily Program and Facility Management: Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations, ensure safety and supervise supplies.
