Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support to patients in recovery at our Sebring, FL location. You will supervise, ensure safety, and assist with daily program activities, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The role is part-time, involves 12-hour shifts, and requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and being at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent is required.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks, and communicate with medical staff for attention needs.
• Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and comply with company policies.
• Maintain respectful and professional interactions with patients, offering emotional support and referring clinical concerns to therapy staff.
