Job summary

Silver Pines Treatment Center seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support clients throughout shifts, maintain a therapeutic milieu, and collaborate with the clinical team. You will assist with daily activities, safety, and documentation while promoting a respectful, structured environment.

Responsibilities include supervising meals and activities, performing screenings, and participating in crisis response with appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Requires 1+ year experience working with clients who have mental health issues.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team to determine interventions based on client needs.
• Engage clients in milieu activities and group settings throughout the day.
• Promote ADLs, supervise meals, and maintain room hygiene.
• Conduct drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Document services, incident reports, and shift notes in a timely, accurate manner.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety procedures as required.
