Job summary

Lifeskills Behavioral Health seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to ensure client safety and a structured milieu within our Broward Highlands residential setting. You will monitor behavior, transport clients to appointments, supervise meals, and document accurately for the clinical team.

There is a focus on DBT-informed care, crisis intervention, and collaboration with staff to support recovery and skills development for residents. Shift options include day, evening, and overnight coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; drug/alcohol certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Requires 2+ years of experience with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client safety and monitor behavior during shifts.
• Transport clients to appointments and supervise mealtimes.
• Document in client records and communicate with clinical team.
• Provide therapeutic environment and assist with DBT skills.
