Job summary

Silver Pines Treatment Center in Mahanoy City, PA seeks a 32 Hour Swing Shift Behavioral Health Technician. You will support clients, document and collaborate with clinicians, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu.

The role requires crisis response, ADL assistance, and active participation in group and individual activities. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1+ year experience with mental health clients, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to complete within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine interventions for individual clients.
• Engages clients in milieu and activities throughout the workday.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and maintain room hygiene checks.
• Conducts client drug screening and breathalyzers as needed.
• Maintains therapeutic environment and boundary-appropriate interactions.
• Documents services, incident reports, and shift notes timely in records.
• Responds to crises with de-escalation and safety procedures.
• Assists with client transport and discharge processes as needed.
